Day 3 of #Osaka 🇯🇵: I woke up at 10:30 to get ready and left the house for Kobe; I was to have lunch there with my friends, who left much earlier than me to visit the Himeji Castle. I visited a significant Starbucks that bought and restored an old Victorian style house. It is definitely a unique experience, getting to see one of these beautiful houses up close just for the price of a coffee! And then I met my friends at the restaurant we were to have lunch at; we were HYPED because we were about to taste the one and only Kobe steak! I got the cheaper Kobe Beef Round ($85) but Jake and Bev tried the more expensive A5 grading Kobe Sirloin and Rib Eye Steaks (each $260). The service was great, the meal included soup, salad and rice, and the steak was grilled right in front of us (by a chef who paced his grilling so that we would have a few pieces at a time when they were still warm). It was the best food experience and tasting everrrrrr, with the tender, juicy beef melting in our mouths as we chew with barely any effort. After this we chilled in Kobe for a bit, before making our way to Expo City (a shopping centre in the north in Osaka) where we were to experience the one and only KFC buffet (gosh so much spending on food on this day). All I can say is; it was really novelty (message me if you’re still curious to hear more).
